Professor Li received her B.S. from Sichuan Normal University in 1984, M.E. from Chengdu University of Science and Technology in 1991, and Ph.D. from West China University of Medical Sciences in 1996. He had been a postdoctoral fellow in The University of Hong Kong, and Chinese Academy of Sciences, respectively. He had been also a visiting research associate in Yonsei University, and a research associate professor in Chinese Academy of Sciences as well as Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, respectively. He has been a professor in Sun Yat-sen University since 2008 year.

Research

Professor Li’s research areas include functional food and food safety.
