【个人简历

郭城博士多年来聚焦病原组学检测技术的创新,以及其在新发和不明原因感染性疾病研究中的应用,包括:①发明病原捕获测序和高通量血清学检测技术,利用创新的探针设计、样本处理体系和生信分析流程,使新方法的灵敏度较传统方法提升近千倍;②在临床或自然场景中开展新发传染病的检测和风险预警研究,助力公共卫生政策的调整;③鉴定以慢性疲劳综合征为代表的不明原因感染性疾病的肠道细菌生物标志物,揭示了丁酸盐产生菌在疾病进展中的作用。近年来在Cell Host Microbe,Lancet Gastroenterol等杂志发表论文40余篇,被引用3500余次,获批多项与病原检测相关的美国发明专利。相关科研成果曾被国家新冠防控指南引用、以及时代杂志、纽约日报、财新新闻等100多家新闻媒体报道。
