于四川大学（原华西医科大学）获预防医学专业学士学位（1993）和卫生统计学专业硕士学位（1996），于中山大学（原中山医科大学）获流行病与卫生统计学专业博士学位（2004），曾于2002年赴英国爱丁堡大学访问学习。1996年至今于bbin平台-bbin官网-bbin电子
医学统计与流行病学系任教，2010年被聘为教授。
