【研究方向及兴趣】心血管代谢疾病早期防治
长期从事心血管代谢性疾病发病机制及其早期防治研究，围绕“营养代谢在心血管代谢综合征早期防治中的作用”这一核心科学问题，基于大规模人群队列，结合基因改造小鼠和原代细胞模型，综合运用流行病学、生物信息学以及分子生物学等多学科交叉技术和方法在心血管代谢综合征新型生物标志物、早期防治靶点、以及个体化早期防治方面开展了全面系统的研究。所在研究团队现已建立了11万人华南地区自然人群前瞻性队列，广东省心血管病队列，相关生物样本库及高效的随访追踪系统。
